Position Title: Secretary
Church: Mt. Olivet Baptist Church
Mt. Olivet Baptist Church is seeking a dedicated, organized, and friendly individual to serve as
our full-time Church Secretary. This is a crucial role supporting the ministry and daily operations
of our church.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for church members and visitors.
Manage correspondence, phone calls, and emails for the church office.
Maintain church records, employee payroll, schedules, and event calendars.
Assist with preparation of bulletins, newsletters, and other communications.
Provide administrative support to the pastor and church leadership.
Coordinate facility usage and room reservations.
Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Experience in office administration or secretarial work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to the Christian values and mission of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
